Ski Club

A few weeks back I went to Clubfest at the Memorial Union and I looked at a ton of clubs and I mean a ton but only two clubs really stuck out to me. Those two clubs were the baseball club and the ski club. I have played baseball all my life and love the game and I just learned how to ski last year and enjoyed it a lot. I wish I could have donw both but baseball club games are on Saturdays and that schedule just didn't work out for me so Ski club it was.
Ski Club started two weeks ago and I attended the first meeting. I put down my $35 to join the club which also gets me a t-shirt and free meals. After a week I got another email saying that there is a trip that you could be apart of on Jan 2-7 in Breckinridge, Colorado. I skied there last year for 2 days with my friend and his dad. It was one of the most fun times I have ever had. So when I got this email I was excited. Another detail that was very attractive was that it only costs $450 for one whole week, and we get to ski on 5 of them. I put $100 down payment on the trip and I am going to go and ride the bus down and get to meet a whole bunch of new people i don't already know.
I am pretty excited for winter break now and can't wait. Now the only thing I really need to do yet is try and get some money from my parents! Since I am a freshman I plan on being apart of the ski club for the next four years and maybe even taking a presidential role in the club.
