A time when I was at my best!

One time that stands out for me that clearly shows I was at the best of my ability came during a football game against Westwood Sloan last fall. I have played in many football games but this one is by far the most important one to me. All the hard work and dedication that I had put in had finally paid its dividends. This was a career game for me that I will remember to tell the rest of my life.
I love the game of football just about as much as every other sport. If you couldn't tell or didn't know by now I am a sports finatic. When I am playing sports I never play to lose and I am very competitive which means I am always out there trying the hardest I possibly can. All the hard work and dedication that I put into the sport during the off-season such as lifting and doing agilities paid off my junior year when I made the Varsity starting lineup for our football team. I play reciever on offense and outside linebacker on defense. I gave you this information because this is information you need to know when I explain when I was at my best.
I played on the varsity team for two years and I scored a touchdown about every other game which is the best feeling. Listening to the crowd scream after you cross the goaline, but the game against Westwood Sloan sticks out most was because it was the best game of my career. I caught 3 passes for 108 yards(my career high) and 2 touchdowns. That was just offense, because while I was playing outside linebacker on defense I intercepted the ball and ran it back for another touchdown. Believe it or not this was all in the first half of our game against Westwood Sloan because our team was up 41-0 at half so the backups played the whole second half.
This game was a career night for me and by far the best night of my sporting career. It was not only my best because I scored a lot but because when I was out on the field I felt a feeling like never before. A feeling that no matter what I couldn't be stopped. This feeling was amazing and I hope to reach that feeling again in something other than sports.
